MRKTworks

Welcome to the MRKTworks Auction Program

MRKTworks is an innovative program developed by artMRKT to support five Bay Area arts organizations by presenting a series of contemporary works for sale through a unique blend of an online and real world auction platform.

How the MRKTworks Auction works:
Beginning at 3:30pm on Tuesday, May 3, the MRKTworks online and mobile auction platform will go live, allowing bidders access to auction artworks through a standard web browser or their mobile device.

You may also view the work in person at artMRKT throughout the event, and place bids either online, via a mobile application or in person with a dedicated, onsite artMRKT staff member.

The MRKTworks auctions will close on Saturday, May 21st at 3:30pm PST.

The highest bidders will be notified and 100% of the proceeds from each piece will be donated to their corresponding beneficiary.

MRKTworks' five highly esteemed Bay Area beneficiaries are:

Art Practical:

Art Practical is an online magazine that enriches critical dialogue for the Bay Area visual arts by providing comprehensive analysis of events and exhibitions. Since its launch in October 2009, it has worked with a network of partners to promote the Bay Area's role in the international art scene, to create a historical record of contemporary artistic practices, and to foster artistic production through critical writing and public programming.
